Pacific Palisades

Welcome to Pacific Palisades

A luxurious community where the mountains meet the sea

Pacific Palisades is one of the few high-end Los Angeles neighborhoods offering direct access to the mountains and the beach. It also has one of the lowest population-density ratios in Los Angeles, with only 24,000 people living throughout the 22.9 square miles, which includes the state parkland.

Many homes in Palisades are on spacious residential lots surrounded by tall hedges. The Eames House, a part of the postwar Case Study House Program that questioned conventional architectural design from the 1940s to the 1960s, is one of the classic mid-century residences.

Brand-new homes are also part of the housing stock, particularly in the Palisades Highlands and Alphabet Streets. These homes are well-liked by young families.

Local Lifestyle

Pacific Palisades is an affluent residential neighborhood with a modest business center with upscale shops, restaurants, banks, and offices. It offers the best of both worlds, with a beach and mountains nearby. Views of the beach and water may be seen from many of the properties. It takes you just far enough from Los Angeles without taking you too far away to prevent you from taking full advantage of everything it has to offer. Palisades is a secluded neighborhood where locals get together for the Fourth of July Parade every year and talk at the farmer's market every Sunday. There is a genuine family feel because most residents have children.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The scenic and walkable Palisades Village is popular among locals; this beautifully manicured outdoor shopping area has over 40 elegant boutiques and exquisite restaurants. Alo Yoga is a great place to stock up on supplies, or you may browse your favorite trendy stores like Chanel Beauty, Brandy Melville, Lululemon, and Madewell.

The Farmers Market, located in the center of the busy Palisades Village, offers locally grown, organic fruit and veggies on Sundays. There is even a pet rescue stall if you feel like adding a new buddy to your household.

You can find many cafes and coffee shops along Palisades Drive. Some notable restaurants in the area include Gladstones, Porta Via, and Spruzzo Restaurant & Bar.

Things to Do

Palisades seems to be the perfect place for outdoor lovers. There is a ton of outdoor space in this coastal community. Palisades Park is the biggest and easiest-to-access park. In addition to its many pathways, lawns, and playgrounds, it has baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and hockey rinks. All these amenities are close to the Village and offer stunning sunset views.

If you are a fitness enthusiast, you may satisfy your need for trekking at the many parks on palisades or running up and down the Santa Monica Stairs. You can also tour the Original Getty Museum to view artwork from the Classical eras of Greece, Rome, and Etruria.
